The data were compared between the study group which consisted of 181 patients with gestational thrombocytopenia and the control group – 221 patients. Results. Method of labor did not differ between groups (p = 0.894). Regional anesthesia was more common in the control group, p = 0.002. Blood transfusions were performed statistically significantly more frequently in the study group than in the control group (p = 0.02). No statistically significant differences were observed between the sex, weight, height and Apgar scores of the neonates in both groups. Conclusions. A course of labor and the neonatal outcomes did not differ between the study and control groups. Regional anesthesia is less frequently performed in women with gestational thrombocytopenia. The incidence of postpartum hemorrhage did not differ, but blood transfusions were more common in the study group.
