ASSOCIATIONS BETWEEN THE GUT MICROBIOTA AND ENDOMETRIOSIS

Abstract
The aim of the work: to determine the associations between gut, uterine, and vaginal microbiota with endometriosis based on scientific literature data.
Methods: a review of scientific literature and data was conducted using the PubMed database and Google Scholar search engine.
Results: the results showed that an infection caused by Fusobacterium in the uterus is associated with endometriosis.
Conclusions: research data also indicates that dysbiosis in the vagina and gut may contribute to the pathogenesis of endometriosis.
