Abstract

Targeted therapy with tyrosine kinase inhibitors (TKIs) has significantly improved survival and quality of life in
patients with non–small-cell lung cancer (NSCLC) harboring activating epidermal growth factor receptor (EGFR) gene mutations. However, in many cases, patients treated with TKI develop resistance to treatment associated with secondary EGFR mutations or MET amplification. The combination of amivantamab and lazertinib has demonstrated clinically meaningful and durable antitumor activity in patients with EGFR-mutated NSCLC.
