Abstract

Inhaled therapy is the cornerstone of asthma and chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD) management, and inhaler characteristics may substantially influence treatment effectiveness and adherence. NEXThaler is a breath-actuated dry powder inhaler that generates extrafine particles, providing consistent dose delivery and effective drug deposition throughout both the large and small airways. This review summarizes the key technological features of NEXThaler and their clinical relevance in asthma and COPD management. Evidence from clinical trials and real-world studies demonstrates that NEXThaler delivers effective, safe, and well-tolerated treatment while supporting current therapeutic strategies for chronic respiratory diseases.
