Abstract

Fetal critical aorta, aortic arch and valve hypoplasia is a congenital heart defect that causes obstruction of blood flow due to aortic valve constriction and subsequent progression to left heart failure. The article describes the clinical case, the treatment of the newborn and the complications that occurred. Possible prenatal and postnatal treatments for this defect are discussed. A review of similar clinical cases is presented.
