Abstract
The article describes a rare case of severe acute biliary pancreatitis in a 35-week pregnant woman. Gallstones and pregnancy caused the pancreatitis. To manage the condition, a cesarean section was performed to deliver the baby, followed by a specialized treatment called endoscopic retrograde cholangiopancreatography (ERCP). The article reviews medical literature on the challenges of treating pregnant patients while minimizing risks to the baby.
