Abstract

Here is currently a worldwide coronavirus pandemic. Vaccination against COVID–19 infection was launched in late 2020 to prevent the spread of the virus and to improve the epidemiological situation worldwide. Pregnant women are included in the high-risk group, but there is a lack of studies proving the safety of vaccines in both pregnant women and those who are planing pregnancy or breast-feeding. Women, and often healthcare professionals, have many questions about newly developed vaccines. The main purpose of this article is to review current recommendations for vaccination during pregnancy planning, during pregnancy, and during lactation.
