Congenital cystic adenomatoid malformation

Abstract
Congenital cystic adenomatoid malformation is lung lesion, caused by abnormal bronchial formation. It appears as formation of the cyst or mass in the chest and does not allow lung tissue to function properly. It can cause mediastinal shift or hydrops. Usually these changes are seen in the second pregnancy trimester and decrease in the third trimester. CPAM is classified in three types based on the size of the cyst. These lesions can be observed, big cyst can be punctated, microcyctic lesions can be treated with glucocorticoids. The main purpose of this article is to review literature and present three different cases of CPAM.
