Abstract
Cystic sacrococcygeal teratoma (SCT) is a congenital embryonic tumor, mostly found in female fetuses and newborns. This article describes a rare clinical case of cystic SCT, which was diagnosed at Lithuanian University of Health Sciences Kauno klinikos, Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology in 2022. The literature review analyzes the differential diagnosis of SCT with particular emphasis on terminal myelocystocele, as well as treatment, possible outcomes and prognosis of SCT and terminal myelocystocele.
